Maybe you’re wondering just what the heck is The Dirt Club? Well it’s the next evolution of Stump Grinder Productions, the small promoting company that has brought you the Firestone Classic, now known as the Santa Ynez Valley National, for the past 12 years.
WHAT
Private location for mountain biking enthusiasts to enjoy their healthy lifestyle sport in a safe location completely removed from other trail users, this is to be a 100% conflict free riding area. With 2 different downhill trails, one super downhill trail, a dual slalom course, a 12 mile cross country course, and miles of dirt double track ranching roads, countless opportunities are provided for riders of all abilities to explore and have fun. This venue has hosted various MTB races the past 12 years, it’s time that we open it up, but we have to pay for it’s use, in order to do so we’ve developed the plan to sell memberships and to charge inexpensive gate fees to non-members.
WHY
During a time of constant conflict between other trail users and mountain bike riders, not only in the Santa Barbara area, but all over the US, it just seems like a great full time use of the trail network that we have built here at The Dirt Club over the past 12 years. In addition, we envision The Dirt Club hosting training camps, bicycle product launches, bicycle industry functions and other events.
WHEN
Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM for Dirt Club members and daily non-member visitors. Every Wednesday afternoon The DC will be open @ 3 PM for a “$5” ride for non-members, members can ride for free, designed to showcase the riding areas to potential new members.

OK, so what’s the Membership cost? $300 for adults, $100 for Junior’s and 25 hours of community service at The Dirt Club Annually, that’s all! This is PRIVATE PROPERTY and it is not just anyone’s to trespass on and ride, it is a privilege to be allowed to ride here! Your 25 annual community service hours can be as either gate monitor, trail worker or other support roles! Where will this money go? To pay for liability insurance, the jersey’s that each member will receive, to provide a portable toilet, to pay for staff to man The Dirt Club when it’s open, to market The Dirt Club and last, but not least …. TO BUILD MORE TRAILS AND TO MAINTAIN THE TRAILS WE ALREADY HAVE, FOR YOU TO ENJOY!
This is an annual membership that will start Jan 1st, 2012 and end December 31st, 2012. It is an individual membership, juniors are $100, there is no “Family Membership” at this time. We will consider special circumstances on a case by case basis and will offer a discount for those individuals that want to work off their membership.

Saturday & Sunday’s - $15 for Adults, $10 for kids under 18 and Children 10 and under Free with paid adult.

Summer Hours until Dark!
If it rains within 48 hours of Hours of Operation The Dirt Club will be closed for the day.
Saturday Night Camping: $15 per vehicle
WHERE:
The Dirt Club, Zaca Station Road, Los Olivos. Directions: Turn off of State Route Highway 154 onto Zaca Station Road, travel north 1.33 miles, and turn right into the entrance of the Stump Grinder Dirt Club. Follow ranch road .75 of a mile to the main venue area, Charlotte’s Meadow. The SGDC is located on private property, trespassers, when caught would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
